Manage Privacy Choices
Byepound respects your right to control how your personal information is used. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and similar U.S. state privacy laws (including those of Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and Utah), you have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
What this means
Like most modern e-commerce sites, we use cookies and similar technologies (Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, TikTok Pixel, etc.) that may share data with advertising partners so we can show you relevant ads on other platforms. These technologies are how we keep our marketing efficient enough to fund free U.S. shipping thresholds and small-batch product runs.
Opt out of sale / sharing
You can opt out of these advertising cookies at any time by:
- Adjusting preferences in our cookie banner (if available on your current visit) or clearing it from your browser to re-trigger the prompt.
- Enabling the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser — we honor GPC as a valid opt-out signal for California residents and other jurisdictions where it is recognized.
- Emailing privacy@byepound.com with the subject line "Privacy Choices" and including the email address associated with your account so we can verify your request.
Other privacy rights
Depending on your state of residence you may also have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect about you.
- Access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you.
- Opt out of profiling for decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
- Appeal a decision we make on a privacy request.
- Designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@byepound.com. We will verify your identity using the information associated with your Byepound account before completing the request, and we will respond within the timeframe required by your state's law (typically 45 days, with a 45-day extension where applicable).
No discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights. This means we will not deny you products or services, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of quality because of your privacy choices.
